‘Christmas Pud’ song
Hamish’s psychic dream foretold that on our last radio show of the year, we’d be at an unfinished water park and Adam Levine would come in and sing a better version (not a funnier version) of his band’s song ‘Daylight’.
This better version of Maroon 5’s song is called ‘Christmas Pud’, and here it is as performed by Marcus Anderson. Thanks Marcus for helping turn this dream into a reality. Check out his band Furnace And The Fundamentals.

Lyrics
Here I am watching,
The clear and starry sky
Where has this last year gone?
I knew this day would come,
When I would sing this song
What will tomorrow bring?
This is Christmas Eve
And its late but I’m trying just to sleep
Cause I know when I wake
I will see you once again
Yeah it’s alright,
Yeah I’m feeling good
Got my new wife
And some Christmas Pud
Yeah it’s Christmas
There’s no time for greed
Cause with you girl
I got all I need
Christmas, Christmas.
Oh ho ho ho it’s Christmas.
Christmas, Christmas.
Oh ho ho ho it’s Christmas.
Here I am standing,
Under the mistletoe
in my arms
so beautiful
the moon is getting bright
no need for christmas lights
Nobody here but us
This is Christmas day
And I feel so grateful for you.
Here’s cheers!
the most precious gift
That I ever have received
Yeah it’s alright,
Yeah I’m feeling good
Got my new wife
And some Christmas Pud
Yeah it’s Christmas
There’s no time for greed
Cause with you girl
I got all I need
Christmas, Christmas.
Oh ho ho ho it’s Christmas.
Christmas, Christmas.
Oh ho ho ho it’s Christmas.
I never want it to end
This day together we’ve spent
decking the halls with holly
You are my light in the dark
a warm mince pie to my heart
my season to be jolly
Baby it’s alright,
Yeah I’m feeling good
Got my new wife
And some Christmas Pud
Yeah it’s Christmas
There’s no time for greed
Cause with you girl
I got all I need
Christmas, Christmas.
Oh ho ho ho it’s Christmas.
Christmas, Christmas.
Oh ho ho ho it’s Christmas.
